ODEK Plywood
Plywood is a wood panel obtained by pressing thin layers of wood at high temperatures using WBP (weather and boil proof) adhesive so that they are perpendicular to each other. A phenolic film layer with a density of 120 g/m² is applied to the wood panel at the appropriate temperature and pressure. After the final step of sizing, epoxy paint is applied to the edges, and the product is ready for sale.
Applications:
- Concrete formwork in construction,
- Partition and wall panels,
- Roof covering,
- Floor coverings for train carriages and truck trailers,
- Grandstand and stage work,
- Wooden box manufacturing,
- School and office elements,
- Furniture,
- Playground equipment,
- Mold cutting
Application Methods
- Plywood should be stacked on dry and level blocks.
- Care should be taken to avoid impact on corners and surfaces during use and transport.
- To prevent damage to the film layer on the wood panel, a non-impact drill should be used when drilling holes.
- When cutting plywood, the machine (circular saw) used must be high-speed and have a fine-toothed blade.
- Prevent moisture absorption by painting the cut edges with acrylic and epoxy-based paint in two directions, up and down and left and right.
- Use a mold oil suitable for the film surface to improve mold quality. Other oils and burnt oils may damage the film layer.
- Be sure to use mold oil with every use.
- During use, nails should be carefully removed and used sparingly.
- Plywood should not be left in direct sunlight for long periods.
